More recently, a secret Presidential Task Force has been created within the FBI, according to Kessler, “to gather, track, and evaluate assassination threats that might be related to domestic or international terrorism.” There has been finger-pointing at Secretary Janet Napolitano for failing to hold Director Mark Sullivan accountable. In spite of all this, President Obama has signaled that he has complete confidence in the Secret Service.
