The video of Occupy protesters at UC Davis is almost too painful to watch. When I initially saw it, all I could think of was Kent State. Is that the direction in which law enforcement is headed? These are peaceful protesters with the right to “peaceably assemble” according to our Constitution. The police in this instance stated they felt threatened by the protesters. What an absurd statement.

There is something about seeing a mother dressed in hoochie clothing that worries me. Does she need attention, affirmation from every man she sees, or is she vying with the younger women who are not parents?  We have all seen this at the mall, in super markets, soccer games, or PTO meetings.  My mind always wonders what kind of example they are setting for their impressionable daughters.
