Apparently, Newt hasn’t spent much effort researching the effect of living in a lower gravity on the moon has on our earth-bound bodies: dehydration, lower hert function, bone loss, decreased red blood cells, lowered immune response, and, oh, yes–flatulence, puffy face…hmmmm, maybe Newt should be the first to go. The little doughboy is definitely full of hot air.

I suppose that the Republicans could continue to rail on about “Obamacare”, although most people are sick and tired of hearing about it. Judging from Mitt Romney’s campaigns of distortion and lies against his fellow Republicans, we can probably expect a brutally negative campaign this Summer and Fall against Obama. Fear not, though; the DNC and Democratically-leaning PACS are ready to let loose on Mitt with a vengeance.

As 2012 presses on and the economy continues to improve, the Republicans will have a more difficult time convincing voters to support their extremist positions and anti-middle class political values. The “wall” between Americans and the onslaught of conservatism must never be breached.

Hey, that’s a great idea! NASA could even design an extra “pudgy” space capsule for the trip. The best part is that Newt’s proposing to make the Space Colony our fifty-first state. Now if we could only figure out how to built a “border fence” big enough to keep out the Russians?

Republicans better find something else to campaign on if the economy does continue to improve throughout the year. Their rhetoric will look stale and out of touch if they don’t adjust. “Truth-impaired” is an apt description of the GOP.
