Oh it’s pretty clear that any techniques can be used. From Obama’s executive order:

(i) to study and evaluate whether the interrogation practices and techniques in Army Field Manual 2 22.3, when employed by departments or agencies outside the military, provide an appropriate means of acquiring the intelligence necessary to protect the Nation, and, if warranted, to recommend any additional or different guidance for other departments or agencies;

Gitmo will be Gitmo where ever it goes according to what Obama has said except those people will be in the States. Bad move. And Gore spoke out many times when he was done.

Cheney is making valid points I think.

You may have a good point about Pelosi, I must admit. She is tap dancing all over the place and each time her answer is different.

One of my many problems with Cheney is that he was and is opposed to the closing of Gitmo, the ultimate torture chamber. It was a pox then and I will never condone what was done there with his full approval.

At least Bush has the decorum to fade into the background. Obama must sink or swim on his own now and stabs from Cheney only look as though he his trying to redeem himself, not the country.

Cheney is the only one out there telling the other side of the story. When Obama released “torture” memos the results section was blacked out. Cheney was one of the few to say “hey you left out what the results were.” I’m all in favor of him talking. After all, when Clinton left office it’s not like Al Gore kept quiet about Bush.

Besides, now that we have Cheney’s point of view we have people like, uh, Pelosi being exposed for the coward/liar she is.

The truth is the truth regardless of who says it and that should be our focus.

that’s okay I think instead of water we should Tabasco sauce and bbq sauce board his ass, then pull that pork and serve it to the starving masses in countries he’s slaughtered.

could you imagine the revolt that might occur if we left off the side dishes of BushSlaw; and Rice and Rumsfeldnuts;

it would feed the hungry masses for miles..
